Conscious Comsumption Campaign
According to data from the United Nations Or-
ganization, estimates indicate that in 2050 the
world population will reach the mark of 9.6
billion inhabitants. This signals that natural re-
sources and food production – which are no
longer sufficient for the current population –
will be more and more demanded, and conse-
quently the residues generated by the human
beings will overload our Planet. With the pur-
pose of raising the Unimeds employees’ aware-
ness and thus positively impact on the resources
conscious use, Unimed do Brasil makes avail-
able the Conscious Consumption campaign,
which was revised in 2014. Besides providing
the communication and campaign artworks
among Unimeds, Unimed do Brasil offers the
hotsite freely acces-
sible by the relationship publics and with tech-
nical contents in the aspects considered in the
campaign. They are: Water, Electrical Energy,
Food, Rubbish, Advertising and the Consumer
Protection Code, Transportation, Public Ways,
Public Heritage, Forests.
